Could have a picnic here if the table was upright Lee Highway through Fairfax was filled with signs like this. A few gems still remain though. A very unique nautical themed piece of architecture of the Anchorage Motel. Have a habit of recording the price of gas when I take a trip. The 29 Tastee Diner has been a Fairfax landmark since 1947. Another mid century gem along Lee Highway. I wonder how much longer these places will remain. That front lobby at the Breezeway is quite impressive. Long live the Breezeway.

Monument at The National Katyn Memorial Park Eden Apartments Baltimore. Probably quite pricy. Thames Street in Fells Point. I would bet these houses are much more expensive than in the previous picture. Streetcars used to run here. Now a home for birds. The Patapsco River buoy #7. Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine SANYO DIGITAL CAMERA Star Japan cargo ship A plethora of marinas along the Patapsco. The gold domes of the St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church in the distance. Francis Scott Key Bridge in the distance. About time to turn around. Returning to the harbor. The downtown skyline coming into view. Nature reclaiming pier on the Patapsco. City Pier Broadway Sailing back into the harbor with the Baltimore Skyline in background Huge Domino Sugar neon sign. One of the largest signs on the east coast. Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse, keeping ships safe since 1855. The USS Torsk along side the iconic National Aquarium.

Heres a googie blast from the past. Get your Sno-Balls here. Perfect on a hot humid day like today. Had dinner here at Seaside Restaurant. A trip to Maryland would not be complete without a plate full of blue crab. Linthicum light rail Station. There is a cool checkerboard painted water tower I’ll have to check out sometime. Back at the harbor. In the background is the U.S.S. Constellation Museum. Historic building at Calvert and Baltimore in downtown Baltimore. Battle Monument on Calvert Street. The orange road work sign is a bit distracting, but could not move it. Fountain at Baltimore City Hall keeping the pigeons cool. Baltimore City Hall. It has the Second Empire architectural style. Hollywood Diner at Holliday and Saratoga now closed. Another casualty of the Great Recession. Neon sign at the Hollywood Diner Arched pillars at Au Bon Pain deli in downtown Baltimore.
